With a sensitive hand and delicate brushwork, this watercolor captures the beautiful view from the top of a ski jump in September. The trees of the surrounding countryside are still green, the first faint hint of auburn and burgundy smattering their canopy. From the high vantage point of the old wood structure, beyond the trees, a glimpse of Lake Superior blends seamlessly into the blue horizon.
